A medical Camp can be considered as a life-saving program that aims to provide free medicines to financially challenged living in rural areas by a hospital team with varieties of medical specialized services.
A medical check up camp for Govt. school was organized on 27th of November, 2022 at Hanumanahalli Village, Kolar district by Sparsh Foundation. The 10 members of the hospital include Dr. Manohar – Paediatrician and, Dr. Sanket -General physician, Operation head – Sparsh Foundation and Program officers, Marketing manager and 4 staff Nurses along with Acharya Institute of Graduate college Interns volunteered for the medical camp at 10 Am.
Blood pressure/sugar screening, child health care, eye check-up, orthopedics and ENT consultation and dental check-up services were provided Doctor advised them for various medicines and consultation during the camp. Free essential medicines were dispensed. The camp closed at around 2 pm. Camp was coordinated by Mr. Ashoka Bala Reddy and Payal Sareen Reddy members of RIDS Charitable Trust.
